Privacy Policy
Last updated 20 August 2026
This policy explains what Dardasha does with personal data. The controller is Bin Haider Darwish L.L.C. (trading as BHD Group), Commercial Registration 1334733, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. Questions go to support@dardasha.om.
1.What we collect
| Data | Why we hold it |
|---|---|
| Your name, email, WhatsApp number and workspace name | To create the account, sign you in, and send login codes and service notices |
| Your password | Stored only as a one-way hash. We cannot read it and never send it back to your browser |
| The WhatsApp conversations, contacts and campaigns in your workspace | To deliver the inbox, campaign and auto-reply features you subscribed to |
| Subscription and payment records | To bill you and meet Omani tax and accounting requirements. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider, not by us |
| Technical logs (IP address, device, timestamps, errors) | To keep the service secure, diagnose faults and detect abuse |
2.Data belonging to your contacts
When you connect a WhatsApp number, the messages and contact details that flow through it pass through Dardasha. For that data you are the controller and we act on your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to message those people and for answering their requests. We do not use your contacts' data to market anything of our own.
3.Why we are allowed to process it
- To perform our contract with you, which covers running the account, delivering messages and taking payment.
- Our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure, preventing abuse and improving the product.
- Legal obligation, for tax, accounting and any lawful request from an Omani authority.
- Your consent, where we ask for it separately, for example optional product emails.
4.Who else sees it
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the parties needed to run the service:
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms, because your messages are delivered over WhatsApp and are subject to their terms.
- Our payment provider, to process subscription payments.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, who store the data on our behalf.
- An authority, where a valid legal request requires it.
5.Where it is stored
Dardasha runs on servers operated for BHD Group. Some of the providers above process data outside Oman. Where that happens we require them to protect it to a standard consistent with this policy.
6.How long we keep it
- Account and workspace data: for as long as the account is open.
- After you close the account: deleted or anonymised within 90 days, except where we must keep records longer.
- Invoices and payment records: kept as long as Omani tax and accounting law requires.
- Technical logs: kept for a short operational window, then discarded.
7.Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or send you a copy. Write to support@dardasha.om and we will respond within 30 days. You can edit your own name, email and workspace name yourself under Settings.
8.Security
Traffic runs over HTTPS. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Sessions are held in a signed token, and per-user API responses are marked so they are never held in a shared cache. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, so tell us at once if you suspect a problem.
9.Cookies and local storage
Dardasha stores your session token and your own profile in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in. That is required for the app to work and is not advertising tracking. Clearing your browser storage signs you out.
10.Children
Dardasha is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11.Changes
If we change this policy materially we will tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
