Dardasha vs respond.io
respond.io is an official Meta Business Solution Provider and a multi-channel platform, not a WhatsApp-only tool. It publishes its prices plainly, which makes this the easiest comparison on the site to write honestly.
The difference that decides it
| Dardasha | respond.io | |
|---|---|---|
| Official WhatsApp Business API | WhatsApp Web protocol | Meta Business Solution Provider |
| Official green verified badge | ||
| Template messages outside the 24-hour window | ||
| Meta per-message fees on top of the subscription | None | Yes, billed by Meta on usage |
| Billing currency | Omani rials | US dollars |
| Charged per seat | No | Yes |
| Free trial | 10 days, no card | 7 days |
Read the first row again, because everything else follows from it. respond.io sells the official WhatsApp Business API. Dardasha connects through the WhatsApp Web multi-device protocol, the same one the WhatsApp Web client uses. That is why we are cheaper, and it is also why we cannot get you a verified badge.
What respond.io publishes
| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | Seats | Extra seat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $79/month | $948/yr | 5 users | $12/month |
| Growth | $159/month | $1,908/yr | 10 users | $20/month |
| Advanced | $279/month | $3,348/yr | 10 users | $24/month |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Unlimited users | not shown |
Their own page states that WhatsApp fees are not included in any respond.io subscription and that Meta charges those based on usage. Contact volume is metered as Monthly Active Contacts, starting at 1,000 on the two lower plans.
What Dardasha costs
OMR 4.900 a year for Premium or OMR 14.900 a year for Platinum, billed once, in rials, through Paymob. Premium supports up to 10 connected WhatsApp numbers and Platinum up to 24, with no per-seat charge. There is no separate Meta message bill because we are not on the API that generates one. Full detail is on the pricing page.
Which one you should actually buy
Buy theirs if
You need more channels than WhatsApp alone, you want the official API and its template messaging, you have a team large enough that Monthly Active Contact tiers and seat maths actually matter, or you want a vendor with a published enterprise support structure. respond.io is a more capable platform than we are, and it is priced like one.
Buy ours if
You are a small or mid-sized business in Oman or the Gulf, you are already having these conversations on WhatsApp from a normal number, and the thing you actually need is for your whole team to work that number at once without a phone being passed around. You want one predictable annual figure in rials, with no per-message bill arriving from Meta and no per-seat licence to count. You do not need the green badge, because your customers messaged you first.
Five things Dardasha genuinely cannot do
A comparison page written by the vendor is worth reading only if it is willing to lose. Here is where this one loses.
No green tick through us
The official verified badge is granted on a WhatsApp Business API account that has passed Meta Business verification. Dardasha does not put you on the official API, so it cannot get you the badge. Wati, respond.io and Interakt can.
No Meta template messaging
Official-API vendors can send approved template messages to a customer who has not written to you in the last 24 hours. Dardasha cannot, because that mechanism belongs to the Business API. If cold outbound to a large list is your core use case, you want an official provider, not us.
Not a Meta Business Solution Provider
BHD Group is not a Meta BSP. Dardasha talks to WhatsApp the way the WhatsApp Web client does. That is a supported client protocol, not a Meta partnership, and it carries no contractual uptime commitment from Meta.
Fewer prebuilt integrations
The three vendors on this page ship large libraries of one-click CRM and e-commerce integrations. Dardasha ships a REST API and webhooks, so most integrations are something you or we build, not something you switch on.
A much smaller company behind it
Dardasha is built by BHD Group in Muscat. It is not venture-funded and does not have a global support organisation. If procurement requires a multinational vendor with a 24/7 follow-the-sun desk, that is a real reason to choose one of the others.
Where these figures come from
Every competitor figure on this page was read from the vendor’s own live pricing page on 2026-08-20. Vendors reprice without notice, so check the source before you rely on a number here, and tell us if one has drifted.
