The WhatsApp green tick, and why you probably do not need it
The green tick, the official business account badge, is one of the most searched and least understood things about WhatsApp for business. The short version: you cannot buy it, most small businesses do not need it, and Dardasha cannot get it for you.

The badge is granted on a WhatsApp Business API account that has passed Meta Business verification, and Dardasha is not on the API. What the badge actually is
It marks an Official Business Account: Meta has reviewed the account and confirmed it represents the brand it claims to represent. It is an authenticity signal, in the same family as a verified badge on any other platform. It is not a quality rating, it is not a licence, and it says nothing about whether the business is any good.

- Evidence the brand is notable, which is the step most applications fail on

Why most small businesses should stop chasing it
The notability requirement is the wall. A single-branch business in Muscat, however well run, is unlikely to clear a bar that is designed to identify brands at risk of being impersonated. Time spent assembling an application that will not pass is time not spent answering customers faster, which is the thing that actually converts.

- Complete the business profile: name, category, address, hours, website
